Founded in 1985, Plasticare Surgery Center is an accredited surgical facility through AAAASF (American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities) to provide both intravenous sedation as well as general anesthesia for plastic surgery procedures. The center offers the most sophisticated state of the art surgical equipment and technology. As director of Plasticare Surgery Center, Dr. Joy provides a unique blend of medical and surgical expertise as well as an emphasis on patient care.

Each patient is assured of personal attention from the physician as well as the highly trained and professional nursing staff. Our surgical team is extensively trained in all the numerous cosmetic surgery procedures available today.

Twenty-three hour extended recovery is one of the many features offered at Plasticare Surgery Center. Our caring Registered Nurses provide comfortable recovery in an atmosphere of discrete privacy. Additional home care is available through Accent Care at 800-834-3059.

If you would prefer to have your surgery done at the hospital, or if your medical condition requires in-hospitalization, Dr. Joy has surgical privileges at Los Alamitos Medical Center in Los Alamitos and also at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, CA.
